Meals

Oju Lunch (Japanese lunch box)2,220 yen

　We are particular about the ingredients and the quality, using only the strictly selected local Nara produced and domestic ingredients as much as possible.
　The Oju lunch carefully made one by one, changes its menu every 2 months, adopting the four seasons of Japan.

The number of lunches are limited so we recommend you to make reservations beforehand.

Yamato Tea Parfait1,000 yen

Parfait full of variety with jelly, Wasanbon (refined Japanese sugar), Yamato tea ice cream, mashed bean paste, rice flour dumplings, topped with deer shaped wafer shell of Monaka.
Eat together with ice cream as you dig in.

Green Tea Pudding600 yen

Milk green tea has been set to perfect softness with Yoshino hon-kudzu-ko.
Add green tea syrup to your preference.

3 Colors Ohagi (bean cake) Made of Black Rice700 yen

3 types of bean pastes, red beans, chestnuts, and green tea pastes are wrapped in rice balls containing black rice, an ancient rice known for its high nutrition.
Comes in very cute mini size. (6 in a set for 1.050 yen, and can be packed for take out.)

Sweet Red Bean Soup Made of Chestnuts800 yen

A perfectly well balanced red bean soup made of chestnuts paste of mellow sweet Japanese chestnuts and rich roasted chestnuts, together with candied chestnuts, astringent skin, and aromatic rice cakes.

Brown Sugar Anmitsu800 yen

Arranged with brown sugar agar and Yamato tea ice cream, topped with red bean paste, fruits and rice flour dumplings.
Add dark molasses to your preference.

Ginger Cake600 yen

A baked confectionery made with grated ginger. The subtle soft taste of ginger baked to a fluffy texture.
Served with lightly sugared whipped cream.

Caramel Swiss Roll600 yen

The Swiss roll made with moist sponge cake containing soybean flour and slightly bitter caramel cream makes an excellent combination.

Red Bean and Cocoa Cake600 yen

A Japanese style gateaux chocolat made with a mixture of smooth red bean paste and bitter chocolate baked with mélange, for a moist finish.
Served with lightly sugared whipped cream.

Sakekasu (sake lees) Cake500 yen

A pound cake baked moist with flavorful Sake lees and "Takacho" a representative Sake brand of "Yucho", who has been running Sake brewery in Gose city, Nara for about 300 years.

Organic Coffee (hot/cold)550 yen

Brewed with freshly grounded organic coffee beans. The bitterness and mellow acidity is just right leaving a fresh after taste.

Organic Tea Tsukigase (hot/cold)650 yen

"Benihikari" known as tea of phantom, has been grown organically at Tukigase.
Relatively low in bitterness and the fresh aroma rises through your nose.

Chai (hot/cold)650 yen

A mellow Chai made with rich Assam simmered well and spiced to make it just right.

Karigane Tea Tukigase600 yen

We have blended Karigane tea (stem tea) of Tsukigase Nara, famous for their production of Yamato tea, with Sencha (green tea).
The refreshing flavor and the mellow taste of Sencha makes a well balanced green tea for a plentiful thirst.

Green Tea of Todaiji-choro Moriya Kosai's Favorite "Chisoku"700 yen

A green tea of "Maruso", a traditional tea shop for over 200 years.
The mellow sweetness is its special feature.

Umejiso (Japanese Ume plum and Japanese basil) Sour600 yen

Japanese basil syrup made in Tsugemura, Nara, mixed with soda, and finished with candied sweet and sour Japanese Ume plum.
